This year our stormwater conference took on a new name - Watershed
Conference. As we move toward a water-shed
approach to managing our water resources, it has become clear that we can no longer look at
water in individual contexts. The connections between groundwater and surface water,
stormwater and wastewater, urban and agriculture are becoming more evident every day. The
conference continued to cover great stormwater topics but we also started to look at some of
the relationships that may not have been thought about before.

Working together, we can significantly improve water quality and meet new TMDL
requirements.
The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance believes that for real water quality
improvements to happen cooperation among all stakeholders - Business, Municipal, Agriculture
and Waste Water Treatment Facilities is vital.
FWWA is prooud to be putting efforts in research and work toward developing a
cost-effective watershed based strategy for improving water quality through a Water Quality
Trading or Adaptive Management Program. We commit ourselves to building relationships,
fostering partnerships and to helping build the framework neccessary to reach that
goal.
