2010 Kick-off Event You are invited! If you enjoy using the lake for swimming, fishing, hunting or relaxing then we are looking for you! We will provide training on how to monitor, collect and record water clarity data and discuss fun projects such as Loon Watch, Shoreline Habitat Restoration and Rain Barrels. It will also be a great way to mingle and get to know others who are also interested in the quality of our local waters.
With the success of the 2009 monitoring project and the interest of more property owners this year, Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance will continue the monitoring project this year on Beaulieu, Koonz and Big Lakes and will hopefully begin comitoring on more lakes such as Big Lake, Island Lake and others!
There is NO CHARGE to participate in the program and lunch will be provided by the organizers.
