Stormwater Conference 2008: Protecting our Resources! On April 8 and 9, 2008, The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance will be holding the 2008 Stormwater Conference: Protecting our Resources at the Liberty Hall and Banquet Center in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Located just off of Hwy 441 South in Kimberly in Downtown, Liberty Hall is an excellent facility that will provided ample space to accommodate the return of exhibitors to the annual conference. Many of the sessions at the conference cover topics relevant to protecting Wisconsin’s water resources. The conference will also present sessions pertaining to sustainability, with Mayor Jim Schmitt from the City of Green Bay giving the Keynote Address on the city of Green Bay’s sustainability initiative. Technical presentations will cover topics such as sustainability in stormwater, rain garden demonstration projects, municipal compost management and a case study on conservation subdivisions in Sheboygan County. We hope you will be able to join us for the annual Stormwater Conference at Liberty Hall this year. Our 2008 conference flier can be viewed here: Stormwater Conference Flier 2008. |
